In college, I took a summer sports journalism course as an elective for my degree. I fell in love with sports writing, and I have always excelled at telling stories on paper. Through this course, I learned how to tell a sports story while including statistics, summarizing the game, incorporating the fan perspective, and meeting deadlines.
